Nori leek rolls

Fresh

1 - 2 • leek (roughy the same size and diameter)

Cupboard

Sushi nori sheets

For the dipping sauce

0.5 tsb • Sesame oil

1 tbs • Soy sauce

1 tbs • rice vinegar

1 tsb • white sugar

A pinch sesame seed


Prep

  1. Cut 4 nori sheets in half ( it might be easier to use scissors)

  2. Cut leek into roughly the same length as the half nori sheet

  3. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and vinegar into a dipping sauce

Cooking

  1. Steam leek for 10-14 mins until soft

  2. While leek is hot, roll it in nori sheets, repeat this 3-4 times

  3. Stack all rolled leek together and roll with another nori sheet

  4. cut it in to bite size, the leek might try to escape from the end, so use you fingers to hold it in place when cutting

  5. Serve with the dipping sauce
